Description
-
Far‑far (also spelled farfar or called fryums) is a popular Indian snack.
-
It’s typically made from potato starch, tapioca (or sago), and sometimes wheat flour.
-
When deep-fried, far‑far puffs up very quickly, often expanding 2‑4x its uncooked size, becoming light and crispy.
-
Because it's very light once fried, it's often eaten as a snack, or used in “mixtures” (namkeen) or as a crunchy side element.
